Engineering Thermoplastics

Engineering thermoplastics are high performance materials that in many cases have replaced metals and offer exciting design and performance characteristics. Such high performance polymers need high performance additives.

Polycarbonate (PC) Polycarbonate is a linear amorphous polymer which has very high clarity and exceptional impact strength and ductility.
PBT Polybutylene terephthalate Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) engineering resin is high molecular weight, high performance material used for a wide range of applications in automotive, electrical and electronic, appliance, and industrial equipment applications.
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) engineering resins are high molecular weight, high performance materials used for a wide range of applications in automotive, electrical and electronic, appliance, and industrial equipment applications. PBT / PET are often used in mineral or glass filled grades.
PETG PETG products are copolymers of PET. The product is often formed into PETG film or sheets for thermoforming applications.
Polyamides Polyamides used as engineering thermoplastics are highly crystalline linear condensation polymers known as nylons. Polyamides are noted for their outstanding physical properties, high tensile strength, resistance to creep, abrasion, chemical and heat resistance.
